This site provides assessed values and physical characteristics extracted from the official assessment records for all residential and commercial properties in Fairfax County. Click the Property Search tab above to begin searching by address or tax map reference number. From these links, you can also view residential sales within a property's assessment neighborhood. Please note, under Virginia State law these records are public information. Display of this information on the Internet is specifically authorized by Va. Code §58.1-3122.2 (1998). See the Virginia State Code to read the pertinent enabling statute. 



 Important Information

It should be noted that the assessed values are as of January 1 for the years provided. However, the property characteristics and ownership information (including sale dates and prices) are updated weekly.

If you believe any data provided is inaccurate or if you have any comments about this site, we would like to hear from you. Owner names will be withheld from the Internet record upon request. Comments or requests can be submitted to the Real Estate Division using the

The geographic information contained on this site is NOT to be construed or used as a "legal description." Every effort has been made to ensure the highest accuracy, but transcription errors or errors in the source documents can occur. Fairfax County assumes no liability for either any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the information provided regardless of their cause, or for any decision made, action taken, or action not taken by the user in reliance upon any maps or information provided. These maps are for information purposes only and may not represent actual conditions at the time of assessment.

The orthoimagery was taken in 2013. If development has occurred since that time, it will not be shown in the imagery. The property lines on the parcel layer have a positional accuracy of 8 to 10 ft. The planimetric features (building outlines, etc.) have a positional accuracy of 2 to 3 ft. Therefore, the imagery and parcels may not have exact alignment. Precise determination of parcel boundaries must be made by a licensed surveyor using the location information recorded on the property deed on file with the Circuit Court.
